It is great app for listening Nihongo!!
Unless you can read and understand Japanese at a advanced level this app is definitely not worth paying for. I want my money back!! I can still use it to listen to NHK news and follow the Japanese text. However, the English translation is not accurate most of the time, the even the Japanese text does not include everything the announcer is saying. So I end up trying to find the text while the announcer is speaking only to find out some is left out. I was a little hesitant and should have gone with my instincts - dont waste your money!

Listening is important for learning a language. Being able to follow along with the transcript helps me to understand and study new words.
